Target & Filter

Our targeting capability is more comprehensive than most banner exchanges. We classify sites into multi-level categories, so members may select one or more categories at any level to be the target of their banners. If a global taget is not sufficient, each banner may have its own target categories. No other exchange offers targeting that is this sophisticated. We also have a great filtering system. You may block out certain sites by their content rating, so they cannot advertise at your site. You may also block out sites by their categories. As far as we know, we are the only banner exchange to offer filtering up to 10 categories.

Directory

Our member's directory is called the Hot! Directory. It lists members by category and has a search engine. But unlike other directories, the listings in Hot! Directory are updated instantly. There is a list of Hot! sites in each category which is voted by members. They are truly the best sites in each category because members are rewarded with hit credits for electing Hot! sites.

Conclusion

We started HitExchange because we got fed up with other banner exchanges. They seem to be interested only in making money for themselves. "There is no catch to membership," they all claim. But there is. They collect money from paid advertisers while their members receive little benefit in return. At HitExchange we displays banners for our members exclusively. All extra banner impressions are distributed to our members accroding to hit credits. We only sell a few hit credits to compensate for our time, effort, and equipment maintenance. Our primary goal is to help web site owners promote their sites.
